International Leadership Program - Engineering and Technology (ILP-ET) is a 7 Days lead Program. It is a is a fantastic foray into the world of engineering and technology and the many careers available in these dynamic fields.
During this seven-day program, held at three of the top five engineering schools in the U.S., you’ll explore the ever-evolving fields of design, 3-D modeling, game and web development, robotics and the many disciplines of engineering.
You’ll be surrounded by other highly motivated students who share your passion, and you’ll be challenged to put your applied knowledge to the test by taking part in engaging workshops and simulations.
You will also strengthen the time management, information analysis, public speaking, critical thinking, and problem solving skills that are “must haves” according to today’s top colleges and employers!
Talk to the experts
Speak and hear from and interact with university faculty and professionals in various engineering and technology disciplines that are moving the needle in technology today.
Participate in a self-guided capstone project on a topic of your choosing, ranging from game design to biomedical engineering.
Structural Engineering Challenge
Learn firsthand about the relationship between structure and function during a challenge to design and build a bridge, taking into consideration not only maximum weight capacity but also building expense.
Video Game Design on Unity Platform
Try your hand at creating your own video game using the powerful Unity development tool. This is award-winning platform is the world’s most popular tool for creating multiplatform 3D and 2D games and interactive experiences.

Is International Leadership Program: Engineering and Technology – 7 Days to Startup for me?
This summer’s business program is for you if you are a high school and university student interested in exploring all of the various business career options available. ILP Engineering and Technology is your springboard to achieving tremendous success in college and in a future career in business. To attend ILP Engineering and Technology, you must be in grades 9–12 during the 2016-2017 school year. Many of our students are nominated by educators, leaders from youth organizations and participating institutions, but open enrollments are welcome from qualified high school students who want to make the most of this opportunity.
What is included in tuition?
Your tuition for ILP Engineering and Technology includes housing, on-campus meals, supervisory personnel, program materials, all program activities, site visits, a Certificate of Completion and local transportation during the program.
However, your transportation to and from home and the program location is NOT included in tuition. While attending the program, you will only need money for off-campus meals, souvenirs, snacks and other incidentals.
How will I be supervised?
Your safety and well-being during the program is our highest priority. The program is structured so that you will reside in a safe, controlled environment. You will be closely supervised by professionally trained staff, including faculty advisors who serve as educational facilitators and chaperones, security personnel, operations personnel and a program coordinator.
Other safety measures include:
Greeting students at the designated airport upon their arrival and providing shuttle service directly to the program site, as well as providing shuttle service back to the airport on departure day.
Maintaining a student-to-staff ratio of 15-to-1.
Providing same-sex rooms and same-sex floors.
Requiring all students to attend all activities.
Checking rooms nightly and ensuring that students remain in their rooms.
Having night monitors in place to support students who may become ill or who have an emergency during the night.
Equipping all staff members with two-way communication devices.
Where will I stay?
For the summer 2017 ILP Engineering and Technology program, all students are housed on college campuses.
How many students share a room?
Each room will house three students. You will have your own bed.
Can my parents attend the program?
No. Your parents or guardians are not allowed to accompany you during the program. Gaining independence, including experiencing new things on your own, is an essential part of your growth during the program. However, it is perfectly fine for your family to travel with you to the program location and stay in the area while you are attending the program.
Do I need to make my own flight arrangements?
Yes. Your tuition does not include transportation to and from your home and the program location. We recommend that you make necessary flight arrangements only AFTER you receive confirmation that you are officially enrolled.
Can special dietary needs be met?
We make every effort to meet the dietary needs of all our students, provided the request is submitted prior to the start of the conference. When you complete the Student Information Form, you will have the opportunity to make special dietary requests.
